The Blue River is one of every paddler’s favorites. IDNR says the Blue River flows through one of the most scenic, interesting and diverse areas of Indiana. In summer it is packed with public rental boats, and so the HCKC is planning it for October when we can enjoy the glory of fall on the Blue to ourselves. It’s a 14-mile trip — be sure you’re up for a long day on the river . . .
