We know. \nBut “Volunteers!!” Volunteers receive bad food\, mumbled compliments from out-of-breath runners\, lower back pain from too much standing\, possibly poison ivy\, definite exposure to tick-borne illness\, AND the coolest of tech-shirts *designed*by* MBA member Terz! How’s THAT for a bargain?? If you come out on course with me (to Sweep and De-Flag the whole business)\, you’ll have an excuse to speed-hike ≥13.1 miles in 80°F humidity!!! WOOT!!! (You can’t get much better training for summer than that\, can you?!? No!) \nWhether you’re going to run\, work an aid station\, or sweep\, ‘sign up’ here so we know to look for you and send a shout-out on course. If you’re desiring to volunteer\, please indicate that too — we’ll need to cap that [at 6?] so we don’t overwhelm HHC with good intentions. \nFWIW\, last year’s run was also in 80°F weather and I finished sweep/de-flag duties gloriously covered in salt — it set me up for a *fine* and fit summer of training. I’m expecting the same on Saturday. \nAny questions: sing out!
