PIFN–2017 Dad’s Camp

We take boys and help them become young men. We spend a Sunday through Friday camping. Each boy either brings a mentor or we work to provide one. This year we are at Obannon Woods State Park. We will be swimming, shooting, hiking, and mountain biking. There will be devotionals that the kids will lead. The boys do the cooking. PIFN–Canoe Trip from Laurel to Metamora

7 Miles on the Whitewater River. It is not white water but flows better than average for Indiana. Usually we see a bald eagle on the trip. We meet and put in at the Laurel Feeder Dam. Afternoon getaway for the whole family at White Rock Park/St. Paul Cliffs near St. Paul, IN. White Rock Park/St. Paul Cliffs is a unique water recreation park built around three abandoned quarries that are now water filled. One quarry is dedicated to swimming and also includes: four diving platforms (highest is 10 meters), floating rafts for relaxing, rope swing, two zip lines and scuba diving (you must have your own equipment and be certified). The other two quarries are reserved for fishing, one of which is stocked with channel catfish. The Flat Rock River is also on the property.

Half day event at the Camp Atterbury "Pop-Up Target" Pistol range. The range consists of electronically controlled "pop-up" targets that can be programmed to raise/lower in a myriad of sequences and with varying degrees of difficulty for the shooter. This range is normally not accessible to the general public; this is a very unique opportunity to experience the same training environment as some of our nation's most elite soldiers.
