This weekend we’ll be staying local and make a trip to this south-side park. The terrain here ranges from moderate to easy, and we’ll plan on doing about two hours of hiking and cover around 5 miles total.

Admission to the park is free and we’ll meet at the parking lot east of Mann Road where the trail head begins behind the ball park.

Afterwards, for anyone interested in getting some lunch, we’ll be grabbing a bite at the Oaken Barrel in Greenwood, about 20 minutes form the park

Car Pool Info: Our car pool will be meeting along the west side of Bishop Chatard High School, which is on the corner of Kessler Boulevard and Crittenden Avenue, at 5885 Crittenden Avenue. The parking along the street is free and we’ll meet on the sidewalk in front of the school at and be leaving at 9:15am.
